Tell me something, in the history of public transit, has a bus driver ever seen someone running alongside a bus punching or slapping the side window, or hitting it with their cane or umbrella, and meekly stopped to invite the person on board? I see it happen all the time and the bus driver always drives off. So, just don't bother!

I made these while I was bored the other day. I'd think that only people who have met a lot of serious klezmer fans would get these, but then again some of my relatives on facebook seemed to find them funny for whatever reason.

It's kind of just a little thing, but I had a lucky thing with my bus home from work the other day. Usually it involves transferring 2 buses and a 5 minute walk between them, but instead the door jammed on the first bus about 3 minutes after I got on it, and it ended up having to drive for repairs without picking anyone up, to Hurdman station-- ( Read more... )

Ahh, I had a profound moment of sorts yesterday but I can't exactly explain it, even to myself. Basically I was introduced to this bearded man who was wearing lumberjack-like clothes and giant clomping boots, yet he was extremely soft-spoken and thin.
